Why are winter roots sweeter?

Because after a frost the plant produces sugar to protect itself. That is the short answer, and roughly what happens in the ground.

[PLACEHOLDER] The interview with the grower goes here. The intake did not name our vegetable grower, so this text stands as an example and should be replaced with the first real conversation.

What does an unheated polytunnel mean?

That the plant grows at its own pace with no artificial push. A slower and smaller crop, but a denser flavour.

[PLACEHOLDER] The grower in their own words.

What reaches our kitchen from this?

[PLACEHOLDER] The produce used that month and the courses built from it.
